PHLEGEIN - From The Land Of Death LP

Fans of album's like Sargeist's Let the Devil In, Gorgoroth, or the more tremolo-oriented parts of mid-period Horna would probably really get a kick out of this album, especially those who find more appeal in nighttime rituals deep in the snowy woods than in black leather and spiked gauntlets.

Indeed, the ritual here is a lot more critical to the band's sound than theatrics. A big improvement over the solid debut album and a worthy addition to Finnish black metal canon.
