Centered around occult folklore, superstition, and misfortune, the release stands as a cohesive masterclass in underground sonic extremity.
Ascalapha’s contributions fuse hurricane-force riffing and gruff vocals with unexpected gothic flourishes and theatrical visual kei influences, constructing cold, towering soundscapes. In contrast, Ithilrå plunges into even rawer territory, interweaving blistering, frostbitten aggression with nocturnal atmospheres, howling wolves, and shattered, euphoric melodies.
