The first instalment of this French duo, which belongs to the Cërcle Mortüaire.

While most of the record follows quite closely the atmospheric black metal path, it brings a varied set of soundscapes. Each song has a different mood from the neofolk intro, the following two tracks in a rather atmospheric and depressive tone, or the fourth with clean vocals juggling from atmospheric to neofolk again moving onto a harsher black metal track to finally end in a mix of black and ambient. This fluidity works to their favour and allows them to present a rather magnificent songwriting.
