It is imperative to set the immaturity of the album cover apart from what is contained within the music. Featuring Høst on vocals and a pantheon of memorable riffs, Blackdoor Miracle blends melody and fury remarkably well, never leaning too deeply into either.

The result is a fantastic black metal album that I consider to be Ragnarok's most underrated.
