While "The Dread March" had a fantastic art cover and a sound reminiscent of Dissection, in this new opus the identity of the band stands out proudly. Outstanding guitar work and catchy melodies are still the trademark of Ninkharsag so don't think for a second that they changed direction, but every bit of this release is flawlessly crafted and elevated to perfection.

Highly recommended for fans of melodic black metal.
