On this record, MOURNFUL MOON continue to explore a unique blend of Gothic and Symphonic elements. The album combines galloping, epic old-school riffage with grand, theatrical symphonic layers, alongside faster, romantic melodicism and whimsical Gothic-leaning synths. Twilight, My Passion is a full-length brimming with nostalgia, tragedy, and sorrowful romanticism, drawing on recent Symphonic BM experimentation in bands like Midnight Betrothed, The Gloomy Radiance of the Moon, and Gates of Dawn, while firmly within the Mediterranean soundscape.
