The album accomplishes something that everyone wanted to accomplish, but few could, and that was creating a purely evil and Hellish atmosphere. This to me sounds more evil than most of the death metal bands heralded as the most evil ones, which is a true testament to the band's ability to make something otherworldly, and ultimately inhuman. It's a classic of the genre, and one of the best underground recordings. The speedy parts are awesome, and the slow tempos are haunting and hypnotic. I definitely would recommend this album to anyone who enjoys death metal.
If we look at this purely in terms of having a vision and executing it, there are few albums that could compete with Infester’s ‘To the Depths, Degradation’, an undisputed masterwork the genre!
