The classic debut record from Grand Belial's Key, 1997.
One thing you can immediately pinpoint from Grand Belial’s Keys music is the guitar riffs. Which is probably the main draw point for many people. They have such a galloping sound to them that is very reminiscent of traditional metal, while still maintaining a crushing blow. Gelal is truly an incredible songwriter and composer. His riffs are so hooky and throat-grabbing, and his solos and leads are littered throughout this whole album. It’s such an enjoyable listen, I can bang my head and groove along to each individual song. The guitars are also very melodic and evil with the awesome production backing it up.
A timeless record!
