Raw, filthy and chaotic, recorded in a single take during the suffocating winds of the Son, Fuinäehot is the side project of M. of Lamp of Murmuur infamy, here separating itself from its predecessor by method of improvised percussion, entropic composition and cadaverous production. Dingy and dirty, “Secrets of the Godhead” is M. at his most carnal, weaving a crumbling monolith of direct string slaughter, haunting synth and entombed dissonance, his heaviest material to date. Any who consume the evocations of early rawness of Lamp of Murmuur or Total Death era of DarkThrone will find many spell configurations to their darkest of delights here.
