Ghostly White makes the eighth full-length effort from King Fowley’s strike team of metallurgists, and what a monster it is. Ghostly White is a victory in the highest order for Deceased, an album that shows the band to be just as hungry, just as ambitious, and just as relevant as Deceased has always been, replete with a rebellious glee a scorning all trends and detractors. Ghostly White contains all that is great in Deceased: the twin guitar attack, the frenzied drums*, tasteful leads, along with Fowley’s trademark howling as he takes the listener through another heavy metal soaked descent into the macabre.
