Really well made atmospheric black/death metal record.

The songwriting is ambitious, the playing is demanding, and some of the guitar leads blossom into dramatic crescendos. This is sinister, dissonant, technically adept blackened death, and these guys are able to pull off virtuosic playing while maintaining a dark, ritualistic atmosphere of terrible power. And they do it in a way that's a lot more entertaining than a lot of their peers in the genre.
