"Voitto Tai Valhalla" sees Goatmoon experiment further with traditional instruments and melodies, resulting in the Finnish one man band's most folkish and melodic release ever.

The transition from raw black metal with folk influences to a full melodic black / folk assault reaches its peak in this album, as shown in tracks such as the two parts of "Voitto Tai Valhalla" or "Vääräoppisen tuhovärssy", which is also including completely clean- sung sessions. The riffs opt for a more melodic approach, emphasized by a wider keyboard presence which immediately distinguishes this effort from Goatmoon's previous ones.
